The On Call® Express blood glucose meter from ACON Laboratories gives a result in 4 seconds from a 0.4 µL blood sample. It is simple enough for daily testing at home and practical for clinics, care facilities and school nurses who need a dependable, low-cost meter.

Fast and easy to use
Calibration circuitry is built into every On Call Express test strip, so there is no code to enter when you open a new box. The meter beeps when the strip has enough blood, and if the first drop is too small you can add more blood within 3 seconds, so an underfilled strip isn’t wasted. The large display (35 × 32 mm) shows bold numbers, and a strip ejector releases the used strip. The meter switches itself off 5 seconds after the strip is removed, or 2 minutes after the last button press.

Where you can test
You can test with blood from the fingertip, palm or forearm. Use the palm or forearm only when your blood sugar is steady. Test on a fingertip after a meal, after exercise, when you feel unwell, or when the reading will guide an insulin dose.
